Last year on the day that the Revolutionary Court in Tehran was scheduled to start the trial of 5 women activists many of the defendants’ friends, relatives and other women activists gathered in front of the court. This led to the arrest of 33 individuals, which included Mortazi who also goes by the name of Marzie Mortazi Langaroodi. Those arrested were charged with illegal assembly.
