Ahmad Zeidabadi Voted As President of IAA

In continuation of the transformation in the student group Iranian Alumni Association [Advar-e Tahkim-e Vahdat], Ahmad Zeidabadi was elected as the organization’s president.
According to the Advar News website, which is affiliated with the organization, “members of the Advar-e Tahkim Vahdat’s policy-making committee, in their latest meeting, unanimously chose Dr. Ahmad Zeidabadi as their president for a two-year term.”
According to the same report, Abdollah Momeni was elected as the organization’s spokesperson.
The Iranian Alumni Association, which prides itself in attempting to “advance democracy and human rights in Iran” in its publications and statements, made the news public yesterday while Mousavi Khoini, who served as the organization’s president since its inception, stepped down and refused to serve as president for another term ahead of the organization’s annual meeting.
