Rooz is a successful story for Iranian journalism. While maintaining the atmosphere of a domestic newspaper, it has succeeded in staying away from the problems and insecurities of a daily publication in Iran. In its publication of 500 issues, Rooz has demonstrated that it one can utilize resources outside Iran to provide good reporting in service of national interest and for the promotion of dialogue and search for problems, without turning its back to Iran and ignoring its positive and negative aspects.
I believe that those involved in the publication of this newspaper must be congratulated. Among its features is that it is a communications media among the people of Iran who live inside and outside the country and forms a common outlet for communicating news among Iranians.
